Christmas Tree Lighting & Chili Cook Off
Let’s celebrate the “most wonderful time of year” together by lighting up the Historic Village Christmas tree, all the while trying our contestants’ famous chili recipes in order to determine this year’s winner. Don’t forget to snap a pic with Santa, as he will be there to greet all of the Village visitors. This is a family event that is meant to bring the community together to enjoy live music, give thanks, & support our small businesses!

Coarsegold Tarantula Awareness Festival
This year we will be commemorating our 25th Annual Tarantula Awareness Festival. Come help us celebrate! This notorious event brings people from near and far and is sure to tantalize the curiosity of all ages. Centered around Halloween time, the theme encourages participation in various events such as costume contests, pumpkin cheesecake submissions, tarantula poems; the list goes on. Details on the event will be on our social media links as well as provided on our webpage as the date becomes closer. Visit our creepy crawlies as they are brought in to guarantee a “WOW!”

Coarsegold Peddler’s Antique & Collectible Show Labor Day Weekend
Come join us down at the Historic Village to celebrate Labor Day Weekend, where the whole family can enjoy some good food, live music, and arts & craft stations! Each weekend, all year round, our vendors are open to provide the community and visitors from near and far with unique shopping opportunities. Grab a drink from Zander’s Coffee or some lunch at the Wild Fig Kitchen… then stroll about through our magical Village that has served the Coarsegold and Yosemite community for many decades. Don’t miss the weekend flea market for some rare finds!
